A farewell ceremony was held at the Indian High Commission to mark the end of the tenure of Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Tharanjith Sin Sandhu.
TharanjithSinh Sandhu served as the Indian High Commissioner in Sri Lanka for about three years. President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa who participated in the farewell ceremony commended TharanjithSinh Sandhu’s service in the island nation. Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa also congratulated him. Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa and a large number of political representatives were present at the occasion.
