Bimal says a judicial audit report should be submitted to Parliament

Parliamentarian Bimal Ratnayake has mentioned that a judicial audit report should be submitted to Parliament immediately. Speaking at a media briefing in Colombo, he said that a written request will be made to the Speaker regarding the matter.

Bimal Ratnayake said that they can clearly see that there is a corrupt group of the bond scam thieves within the Maithripala Ranil Government. They prevented the first COPE Report from being released. The Ranil Wickremasinghe group obstructed so that Sunil Handunnetti left his seat. But they sustained these challenges and presented the COPE report. 900 million rupees was spent on the report.

He said they are calling on the Speaker to present this report to Parliament. He said that the six members of the JVP intended to meet the Speaker on the 21st afternoon and make a written request.
