British quartet win epic rowing race across the Atlantic in 32 days

Four-boat, Fortitude IV, manned by British quartet Ollie Palmer, Tom Foley, Hugh Gillum and Max Greet arrived into English Harbour, Antigua to win what’s dubbed the world’s toughest rowing race: the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. In an exhausting time of 32 days, 12 hours and 35 minutes, the four friends finished first having begun their journey on Dec. 12 last year from the race’s starting point in the Canary Islands. An Australian four-boat called Rowed Less Travelled are set to finish second roughly 48 hours behind, while nine boats are anticipated to arrive within the next week with some solo boats only expected to finish in roughly eight weeks.
