Toyota Gazoo Racing go 1-2 in Bahrain Endurance race

Toyota Gazoo Racing went 1-2 in the Bapco 8 Hours of Bahrain endurance race at the Bahrain International Circuit. Toyota No. 7 drivers Mike Conway, Jose Maria Lopez and Kamui Kobayashi racked up their second win of the season to vault to the top of the World Endurance Championship points standings. The race got off to a rocky start for pole-sitter Bruno Senna of Rebellion Racing when Team LNT’s Charlie Robertson spun and made contact with him on an opening corner. Sebastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley and Kazuki Nakajima were runners-up in the Toyota No. 8 car followed by Senna, Gustavo Menezes and Norman Nato who came back following the collision to take the last podium spot.
