Alaska’s brown bears chow down post-hibernation

Alaska’s brown bears had a salmon feast, as they returned to Katmai National Park’s Brooks Falls after a long season of hibernation. The Katmai National Park and Explore.org. caught the action on their streaming cameras. The bears were last seen in October 2018 fishing for salmon prior to hibernation. Found across North America and Eurasia, brown bears thrive in certain areas such as Canada and the northern United States. They are classified as critically endangered according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources.
