SpaceX rocket takes off in heavy fog from California’s Vandenberg Air Force Base

A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket lifted off on Wednesday morning (June 12) from the Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, launching three Canadian satellites into orbit. The launch, SpaceX’s seventh this year, took place amid heavy fog which obscured the launchpad. The Falcon 9 rocket lifted off at 7:17 local time.SpaceX completed its second ‘land landing’ on the West Coast successfully, the company said in a tweet after the rocket came back.The three satellites on board the rocket were RADARSAT Constellation Mission (RCM), built by the U.S. space technology company, system.scripts.
