Nielsen wins stage 4 of Paris-Nice, Kwiatkowski takes overall lead

Astana Pro Team’s Danish rider Magnus Cort Nielsen won the fourth stage of the Paris-Nice, beating Belgian Thomas De Gendt and Italian Giulio Ciccone to the finish lineCCC Team’s Alessandro De Marchi finished fourth after the quartet had dominated the stage, maintaining a healthy lead over the peloton all the way to the end.Overall leader Dylan Groenewegen had a disastrous day after he struggled to keep up with the peloton and saw himself lose his overall lead and free fall down the general classification, trailing the new leader, Team Sky’s Michal Kwiatkowski, by several minutes.The Pole is only five seconds ahead of Spaniard Luis León Sanchez and 10 seconds ahead of Belgian Philippe Gilbert. Stage five takes place today around the southern town of Barbentane in a 25.5 kilometre time trial.
