Freestyle skiers jump roads in breathtaking mountain run

Pair of professional freestyle skiers have completed an extraordinary run by jumping over several roads of the highest mountain pass in Italy. Starting from an altitude of 2,757 metres, Benedikt Mayr and Markus Eder navigated the 555 metres descent of the Stelvio Pass from the peak of Piz da las Trais Linguas in the Stilfser Joch National Park by making use of slopes, rail slides and snow cat vehicles to jump over roads. According to the organisers, it is the first time multiple roads have been crossed in a single freestyle slope run with Germany’s Mayr and Italy’s Eder hurdling over the mountain pass on 12 occasions.
