Wade Young wins two day motocross event held in Polish coal mine

A Polish coal mine was the scene for a two-day motocross event which saw South Africa’s Wade Young triumph in the dirt. Stage five of the ‘World Enduro Super Series 2018 Red Bull 111 Megawatt’ saw close to 1,000 competitors race in qualifying to try and make the final the next day. Riders battled rocks, wooden beams, tyres, hills and an excavation pit in the race which was held at Belchatow Coal Mine in central Poland. In a race which started with 500 bikers at the same time, Wade Young took victory with Poland’s Taddy Blazusiak coming second and Britain’s Billy Bolt finishing third.
