The most valuable earrings to ever be put up for auction were displayed in London. The “Apollo Blue” and “Artemis Pink” diamonds, with a combined valuation of 50-70 million US dollars, will be auctioned off in Geneva on 16 May. They will be offered separately. The “Apollo Blue” has an estimate of 38-50 million US dollars while the “Artemis Pink” will be offered with an estimate of 12.5 to 18 million US dollars. David Bennett, Worldwide Chairman of Sotheby’s International Jewellery Division, told The Associated Press it was “absolutely unprecedented to find a pair of stones like this”.
