All-rounder Mohammad Nawaz has been banned for two months as part of an investigation into corruption in the Twenty20 Pakistan Super League.

Nawaz, 23, failed to report a suspicious approach inviting him to engage in “corrupt conduct”.

He will only serve half of the ban if pays a £1,500 fine and co-operates with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

He is the second player to be suspended by the PCB, after Mohammad Irfan was banned for a year in March.
