Sony is releasing new smartphones for its flagship Xperia range at the IFA technology show in Berlin. The XZ1 and XZ1 Compact come with updated cameras and Full HD screens and a unique 3D imaging technology. This is Sony’s new XZ1 smartphone. The new handset from the flagship Xperia range builds on the heritage of the XZ Premium and comes in regular and compact sizes. The XZ1 has a unified, anti-twist metal body with a 5.2 inch Full HDR screen and Gorilla glass. The XZ1 Compact has a glass fibre woven plastic body and has a 4.6 inch screen. Both will run on the new Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. But one of the standout features is the ability to capture high definition images in 3D.
