Mobile game ‘Pokemon Go’ is getting social in a bid to recreate the craze which sent legions of players hiking around cities and battling “pocket monsters” on their smart phones. Developers admit interest has dropped since the game’s initial launch almost a year ago, but it still claims around 65 million monthly users. Niantic, the developer of mobile game ‘Pokemon Go’, has unveiled a new, social ‘Raid Battle’ feature that encourages players to buddy up in order to catch the creatures. So-called ‘trainers’ have the opportunity to team up virtually with others nearby and work together to defeat powerful Pokemon, known as ‘Raid Bosses’.
