The second British Rugby player who was admitted to a hospital in Colombo due to breathing difficulties, has passed away. Two British Rugby players were rushed to hospital following breathing problems and one of them passed away, yesterday. It was revealed that the reason for the death is not an injury or a disease. The rugby team arrived in Sri Lanka on the 10th of this month. They were staying in a Hotel in Colombo after a friendly match on the 12th of this month.
The deceased rugby players are Harward Thomas Andrew and Thomas Reid. The postmortem was conducted by Judicial Medical Officer of Colombo Dr. M N Ruuhul Huk. Samples of the remains of the deceased players will be sent to the forensic examiner for further tests. The Colombo Fort Police is conducting further investigations.
