Prime Minister RanilWickremesinghe says that the government is ready obtain cutting-edge knowledge in science, technology and energy sector from Japan and strengthen ties between the two nations.
The Prime Minister expressed these views at a function held at the parliamentary complex.
A program to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Sri Lanka’s Independence and the strengthening of the Sri Lanka-Japan relationship was held at the parliamentary complex.
The event was organized by the Honganji Foundation, the Japanese Embassy in Sri Lanka and the Japan-Sri Lanka Parliamentary Friendship Association.
Speaker KaruJayasuriya, Minister NavinDissanayake and Japanese Ambassador in Sri Lanka Kenji Sugunuma also participated in the function.
