The proposals of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party for the 2017 Budget
have been handed over to the Finance Minister. The proposals were submitted at the Finance Ministry.
The proposals drafted by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party on behalf of the forthcoming budget were handed over to Finance Minister Ravi Karunanayake. Proposals had been drafted with respect to many fields including agriculture, plantations, education, rural development, small and medium scale entrepreneurship development and fisheries. Each of these proposals were discussed on this occasion.
Minister Ravi Karunanayake said that the proposals submitted by the Sri Lanka Freedom Party will be used in the formulation of background needed for the development of the country.
General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party Minister Duminda Dissanayake and General Secretary of the United Peoples Freedom Alliance Minister Mahinda Amaraweera joined in this occasion.
Ministers Susil Premajayantha, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, Kabir Hashim, Malik Samarawickrema, S.B. Dissanayake, Akila Viraj Kariyawasam, Lakshman Kiriella and P. Harrison and Deputy Minister Lasantha Alagiyawanna were among the others who joined in the occasion.
