President inaugurates 3rd Biennial Meeting of South Asian Society for Sexual Medicine

The 3rd Biennial Meeting of South Asian Society for Sexual Medicine is being held in Sri Lanka. The inaugural ceremony of the Meeting was held at the BMICH under the patronage of President Maithripala Sirisena yesterday.
The event themed “New Frontiers in Sexual medicine: Mind, Body and Science” will draw to an end tomorrow. Experts of sexual health in South Asia, university lecturers and scholars are taking part in this meeting. Most topical and current information, controversies and future directions in sexual medicine are being discussed at the meeting. The first and second meetings were held in India and Bangladesh respectively.
The President presented awards to three former Presidents and members of the Society at this event. Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne, incumbent President of South Asian Society for Sexual Medicine Dr. Lasantha Malavige, President of International Society for Sexual Medicine Dr. Luca Incrocci and Dr. Iyanthi Abeywickreme were among those present on this occasion.
