Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe will be leaving the island tomorrow

to participate in the 15th Asia Pacific Conference for German businesses. The Conference scheduled to begin in Hong Kong tomorrow will continue until Saturday the 05th.
This Conference is being organized with the intention of strengthening relations between entrepreneurs in the Asia Pacific region and German entrepreneurs. As a leading State in the European Union Germany and the Asia Pacific Region receive a significant place. It is because this is the first conference to be held since Britain’s exit from the European Union.
The Conference will be held at the Hong Kong International Convention and Exhibition Hall sited near the Victoria Harbour in Hong Kong. The meeting will be held by leading law planners, scholars as well as entrepreneurs in Germany and in the Asia Pacific region.
The Prime Minister’s Office announced that the official delegation will include Prof. Maithri Wickremasinghe, Minister Malik Samarawickrema, Prime Minister’s Secretary, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to China Dr. Karunasena Kodithuwakku, Prime Minister’s Additional Secretary Saman Athaudahetti and Special Assistant Sandra Perera.
