Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe has said that a Parliamentary Committee system would be created to look into the conduct of Parliamentarians who are elected to the new Parliament. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe said that the President of the Government that would be formed by them is President Maithripala Sirisena who is the Chairman of the Alliance. He said that a committee system would be introduced in Parliament to monitor the work carried out by Ministers and Parliamentarians. He said that a consensual Government would be established. The Prime Minister said this while attending a public rally in Medagama, Bibila. It had been organized by UNP candidate Harindra Dharmadasa. Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe attended another rally at Passara in Badulla. State Minister K. Velaudhan had organized the rally. The Prime Minister said that Badulla would be converted into a main tourism centre that can attract high spending tourists. He said that plans would be drawn up to develop close by cities as well. Prime Minister Wickremasinghe attended the United National Front rally in Bandarawela. The meeting had been organized by UNP Bandarawela Organizer Chaminda Weerasiri. The Prime Minister says that a new programme would be launched to develop the agricultural sector by establishing villages for agriculture. He said this during a public rally of United National Front at main bus stand of Welimada. The meeting had been organized by Welimada UNP Chief Organizer Ravindra Samaraweera.
