The main suspect arrested over the robbery of artefacts from the Colombo Museum was further remanded today until the 25th of this month.
Lansage Priyantha Mendis is the suspect who has been taken into custody with respect to the incident related to the looting of artifacts from the Colombo Museum. He was in remand custody and was again produced before Colombo Additional Magistrate Aruni Attygalle today. She ordered to further remand the suspect until the 25th of this month.
These artifacts were burgled on the 17th of March in the year 2012 and seven suspects have been released by the judiciary.
