India agrees to support digital reforms in Sri Lanka’s education

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi have held bilateral talks. The talks were conducted at the Hyderabad Palace. The Indian Prime Minister assured full support to Sri Lanka in her efforts to effect digital reforms in the Education sphere.

Narendra Modi referred to Indian plans to extend support of Indian experts for the creation of the software needed for the implementation of the pilot project under the programme of granting tablets to school children.

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremasinghe said that all efforts will be made to accelerate the Sri Lanka India family projects. The Sri Lankan Premier stated that the problems that hve surfaced should be resolved. The Indian Prime Minister lauded the efforts made by Ranil Wickremasinghe to strengthen Indo Lankan relations.
