Minister John Amaratunge has said that a massive crowd will be brought to Colombo at 2.00 pm tomorrow to protest the conspiratorial programme mooted y defeated politicians against the initiatives taken by the good governance administration on behalf of the people. At a media briefing today, the Minister invited all the people who are against corruption to join in this protest.

The Minister said that they saw in the past the joint opposition dashing coconuts and staging protest. The United National Party has taken a decision to invite their party members to descend on Colombo tomorrow and express their protest against the false allegations.
He said that this protest will begin at 2.00 pm tomorrow. He invited particularly the public and private sector employees to join in this rally. He said that this is necessary to show the people that the protests stage by the joint opposition harm the future of the country, but would not result in any benefit to them.
The rally will be held at Hyde Park at 2.00 pm tomorrow under the theme “Pave the Way for a New Sri Lanka.” Its main aim is to defeat saboteurs at a time when the main political parties have joined hands to build the country. All people who love the country are being invited to join in this rally at Hyde Park.
Assistant organizer of the Jathika Sevaka Sangamaya Ananda Palitha who joined in this news conference invited all the working fraternity to join in this rally to protect the democratic rights they gained as a result of the Good governance administration.
