The National Dangerous Drugs Control Board has said that there is a decline in the use of narcotics following the increase in the price of cigarettes and the actions initiated by the Police. Chairman of the Board Prof. Ravindra Fernando made this reference at a workshop organized to educate journalists.
The workshop discussed in detail the diseases that result in the use of narcotics and also the related issues.
Director General of the National Dangerous Drugs Control Board K. Gamage was among those present at this workshop.
