The world of the children is beautiful. But sometimes we see dark shadows which try to destroy this beauty. Students who go to schools in white uniforms bring pride to the nation as well as light up the country. That is why the education has been made mandatory for the children. Although there are laws it is questionable whether all the children get their rights to education. Despite the society speaking about these issues, there are no answers for certain issues. Children who should go to schools are mining sand in rivers without attending schools. They may have become victims of this fate due to economic hardships to their families. That destroys their lives as well as strikes a fatal blow to the country’s future. We started the journey searching for children who are engaged in sand mining after hearing continuously about such stories. Thereafter we paid our attention on the racketeers who play with their lives for one thousand or one thousand five hundred rupees. Although the law should be strict against such individuals it is questionable whether it takes place as the racketeers still encourage the children to mine sand. We will not be satisfied by only reporting this. In future we will watch the authorities for their actions on these children.
