Tsitsipas wins thrilling five set semi against Rublev at Next Gen

Greece’s Stefanos Tsitsipas won a five set thriller against Russian Andrey Rublev to book a spot in the Next Gen final.Tsitsipas won the first set before Rublev hit back to level the match, the Greek top seed then took a 4-0 set in the third before Rublev once again levelled to the force the match into five sets.Tsitsipas then received a warning from the umpire after he went into meltdown in the fourth set when he dropped serve to allow the Russian back in the game.

He smashed his hand at the towel three times in a violent manner before turning to the other table and smashing his headset used to communicate with his coach.At 2-3 down and on a deciding point that was also a match point for Tsitsipas, Rublev had allowed the serve clock run down reducing him to a second serve.
