The country’s first mango cultivation development zone was launched under the patronage of Minister Mahinda Amaraweera and Deputy Minister Vasantha Aluvihare. An extent of 200 acres has been selected for this purpose. 100 cultivators will be involved in the process. The second mango cultivation zone is due to come up in Jaffna.
