Vegetable price to come down

The Hector Kobbekaduwa Agricultural Research Institute says that the price of vegetables is decreasing. It said that the price of potatoes and big onions will come down during next few weeks. The wholesale price of vegetables have decreased between 50 and 60 rupees except for few vegetables. The reason for the decrease is the market is receiving harvest of the Yala Season.

The Institute said that the price of potatoes and big onions will come down within next two weeks. Meanwhile the Hector Kobbekaduwa Agricultural Research Institute pointed out that the price of poultry products has increased artificially in the market. The committee on cost of living paid their attention for the situation last week and proposed a controlled price to solve the problem.
