Weapons recovered from Kolonnawa

A haul of weapons including four T-56 weapons have been recovered from the Kolonnawa area.

The weapons belonging to a suspect arrested from Mount Lavinia were seized when the weapons were taken away to be hidden at Umagiliya in Kolonnawa. The Wellampitiya Police arrested three suspects. Rickey, a dog of the Metropolitan Police Service Dog Support Unit assisted in the arrest of the suspects.
