Drinking water project for 12,600 families

A plan has been crafted to launch a drinking water supply scheme which will benefit 12,600 families in Kolonnawa. Parliamentarian Duminda Silva has assured that the Project will be launched next year.

The Project is being planned at the behest of the President. The Parliamentarian made these references, launching a common amenities programme for the benefit of schools within the Kolonnawa electorate. He said his desire was to look into shortcomings in all schools of the electorate and immediately eliminate them. Enhancing sanitary facilities of the Kudabuthgamuwa Dharmapala College, the Professor Ediriweera Sarathchandra school in Mulleriyawa were mooted under the auspices of the Parliamentarian.
