Robert Blake due tomorrow

The United States Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asian Affairs Robert Blake will arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow.

The State Department announced that the former US Ambassador to Sri Lanka is expected to have consultations with the Sri Lankan government, political parties, business leaders, and civil society. He met President Mahinda Rajapaksa recently in April at the SAARC summit in Thimpu, Bhutan. Assistant Secretary Blake will also travel to the Maldives on the 22nd .
